A decade after his first solo album ("Filth Haven", Malignant Records), "Magnor" was composed and matured over several years, crafted using analogue and modular synthesizers, minimal post-production, with a strong focus on structure, dynamics, and atmosphere. The music is performed rather than programmed, lending it a sense of presence and authenticity, forming a crucial part of the album's character.

Norway's Kristoffer Oustad also records as Stromstad, Plague Machinery, V:28, V:O:I:D, and has collaborated with Industrial heavyweights such as MZ.412, Murderous Vision, Stromstad, and Megaptera.
