The road does not end: it abandons us, and in its abandonment it invites us to pause, listen, and wander within what cannot be possessed, only perceived. "The Dead End Road" is a journey along a road that leads nowhere, immersed in dark and suspended atmospheres - a path that leaves us alone with our listening.

Through field recordings and electroacoustic textures, sounds emerge, dissolve, and recombine in restless spaces, between memory and presence. Each track is a fragment of an inner landscape: a place where silence is not absence but presence, and where the boundary between the real and the imaginary blurs.

Francesco Giannico is an Italian electroacoustic composer and sound designer who deals with an almost obsessive attention to what is "soundscape". He has collaborated over the last two decades with the likes of Kim Cascone, Bruno Dorella, Fabio Orsi, Anacleto Vitolo, Matteo Uggeri, and Giulio Aldinucci.
