Thus Avici”. ‘Thus Avici' is the second album from Tunnels Of Ah (Stephen Ah Burroughs / Head Of David ). The title references ‘the sutra of bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's fundamental vows', a section of which Burroughs reads daily in homage to Ksitigarbha whom Burroughs pledged ‘entreaty and supplication' under solemn tantric oath 20 years ago. Tantric buddhism, christian mysticism and personal magick make up the subject matter for ‘Thus Avici'. Where traces of 2013's ‘Lost Corridors' album can be heard, ‘Thus Avici' is a harder, more focused offering. Shards of distorted noise, ritual drums, caustic drones and haunted vocals make ‘Thus Avici' a dark hallucinatory swoon into the hinterland of the Tunnels Of Ah. The dull blue light of brute-world calls.

Reissue of Ataraxia's 2006 album (Cold Meat Industry). On Paris Spleen, Ataraxia are inspired by poetry, mainly the one that transforms the most turbid and tormented reality, the one of the wretches, the freaks, the buskers and the buffoons in a sort of lyrical revelation. "We started exploring an historical period and environment that have always appealed to us: the 'cabarets macabres' and fun fairs of the beginning of the XXth century in Paris... Carrying out an accurate research about the 'ghost cabarets' that animated the nights of Boulevard de Clichy, we disappeared into a nocturnal environment both gloomy and sparkling of unnatural colours, a distorted dimension where each mask, drama, jest and tear turned into a grotesque and amplified representation of life. Men, dogs, exotic perfumes, acrobats in decay, green-eyed enchantresses, cloud sellers, heavenly places come into existence behind the threadbare fabric of a torn curtain rather than on the unnailed planks of a worm-eaten stage. Identifying ourselves with the artists of that time, we have written a collection of songs that could have been played at the beginning of the xxth century in the Cabaret of Heaven rather than in the Tavern of Crooks. Thanks to the sound of bandonéons, musettes, trombones, violins, big-drums and cymbals and the dramatic and guttural voice of our singer, we have sung Baudelaire who, in his turn, had sung Paris of the imaginative and under-privileged artists of Montmartre. This music brings back to life the grotesque, bitter and irreverent words of "Le Spleen de Paris". Digipak.

The whole musical odyssey is surrounded by a hazy feeling of nostalgia. Gorgeous reissue of Ferial Confine's 1985 album, previously issued on Broken Flag on cassette. Ferial Confine was an early Andrew Chalk experimental, somewhat noise-based project. You can certainly hear the influence of The New Blockaders and, to some extent, Whitehouse, but "Meiosis" is a fine example of what was 'in the air' for a small amount of people scattered around the world at the time. Without computer technology, this sort of sound barrage was difficult and time-consuming to accomplish. As with a lot of recordings in those heady days, the effort that was put in led to a very detailed refusal of what passed for music at the time. The two part title track is particularly harrowing, but some of the other nine pieces display peeks of the melancholy beauty Andrew is known for today. Superbly remastered by Denis Blackham from the original master tapes. Ltd x 500 copies in a mini-LP style sleeve with obi strip.

Roughly 700 minutes of playtime, including lots of rarities and also completely unreleased songs recorded between 1993-1999. Also included in the box is a 52-page booklet that includes a report of GRUNT activities 1993-2013, general history, discography with liner notes from all releases, live action list and photos. Kazeria means "Hunt" in Spanish. This is a solo project started and led by Argentinean composer [S] in 2008. "Credo Nostrvm" ("Our Creed"), has nine tracks inscribed into a martial, neofolk, neoclassical and dark ambient combination, dealing with some themes that represents [KZ]'s main topics: the meaning of glory, decadence, eternity, struggle, occult and sacred symbols of forgotten times. [S] spouts out a harsh vision about reality, which could be understood as "active nihilism". This is its way to relate to this current decaying age which, in [S]'s words, "must be overcome". "This album was conceived as a rite of passage from dusk to the deep night of the Spirit to reach the fullness of the Gnosis. The Crow guides the neophyte through the Four Hymns to achieve transmutation in the Midnight Sun, which is the Morning Star as a symbol of a new Golden Dawn. The edition was inspired by the thelemic works of Frater Perdurabo (the great Aleister Crowley) the medieval mysticism, hermetic symbols and heathen wisdom. The album contains four martial industrial / dark ambient songs plus two hidden tracks, representing the rites of Liber Corvus and a video-ritual directed by Diego Arandojo, that emphazises on the main theme of the work. |

On their first album P. Perä-Takala (Sick Seed, Gelsomina) and P. Dassum (Umpio) basically combined the known elements of their projects as mere "collaboration". But now Peenemünde stands as project of its own identity. The second assault of Peenumünde abandons smashing junk metal and enters the dark laboratory of poisonous experiments with cold electronics. The duo created the material on tape in live sessions. It has a cold electric feel, without the element of techno. It uses fierce junk metal, without fitting into line with other junk metal noisers out there. It has the rotten sound from the gutters of a laboratory, without being unnecessarily "lofi" or poor quality. Thematically it is based on inventiveness of mankind in the field of warfare and cruelty. |

The return of one of the most amazing industrial acts! The conception of of Czech ensemble Skrol arose from the visions of its spiritual father Vladimír Hirsch in autumn 1995, when he was joined by Martina Sanollová-Sweeney and Tom Saivon. Skrol employ original principles of composition, with the added depth of classical influences. Their inspiration derives mainly from Slavic melodic and harmonic systems. “New Laws / New Orders” was originally an instrumental suite of Vladimír Hirsch, created in 2000, later reworked alongside some unreleased pieces from 1996-1999. Skrol’s majestic and uncompromising music is based on specific melodiousness and orchestration of contemporary neoclassical music, situated in the arch of industrial ambient and brutalised by noises and modern technological sounds. The name consists of two Latin words: Vir: a man, a man of courage, principle, or honour, one who deserves the name of a man; Martialis: of, relating to, or suited for war or a warrior. The Romans, had two words for the man, Vir ( Hero) and Homo (Slave) - the Vir live under a code of honor that makes it worthy of being called Man; The Virtue (Vir - Virtus) is built under his warrior spirit, Vir Martialis is the man-hero, the Vir generates Virtue in opposite with the Homo man-slave without property or martial spirit.
