ATARAXIA - 'Arazzi' CD (Twilight Records) - £11

Arazzi was the third and final demo tape from Italian Medieval / Neoclassical / Ethereal act Ataraxia. Recorded and self-produced in 1992, it was released in 1993 by Energeia. The band has chosen not to change the original sound keeping the early 90's rough and instinctive spirit. They have included with this reissue the bonus track, "L'ultimo Arazzo", which should have been part of the original 1993 release, but, being not satisfied with the original version, they re-recorded it in 2017 with the participation of Riccardo Spaggiari on drums. IN SLAUGHTER NATIVES - 'Psicofonias - Las Voces Desconocidas' CD (Gradual Hate Records) - £13

In 2008 the documentary “Psicofonías: Las Voces Desconocidas” was shot by the film director Jose Moral. The film is based around the voices of dead people, where echoes of spirits leave us some footprint after death. For a long time, humankind has believed that it is possible to communicate with dead people. Over the years, seances, mediums and psychics have been possible instruments to make contact with the afterlife. So, EVP is a spiritual footprint and a communication link to the soundtrack in this documentary. This is the new album of this great doom atmospheric folk band from Hungary, with 6 new songs (around 40 minutes), all previously unreleased. WE ARE THE HUNTERS & MYNATIONSH*IT - 'We Are The Hunters & Mynationsh*t' LP (Gradual Hate Records) - £14

We Are The Hunters were born from the fusion of Sentrionaut and Synthembryo (Alonso Urbanos, Scumearth). They are influenced by German electronics, experimental sounds, space synth, minimal synth, ambient, industrial. For this project they armed themselves with a selection of analogue and digital synths, adding analogue DIY machinery, semi-modular systems and a clear influence of the science fiction that has been with them for decades, either in cinema, literature, soundtracks and, above all, electronic synth music created from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Mynationsh*t emerged as a musical project in 2007 and creates music through the use of synthesizers and drum machines. WIND ATLAS - 'An Edible Body' CD (Gradual Hate Records) - £11

"An Edible Body", marks a turning point in the band’s trajectory. Their third record builds a new space for the band to experiment and play with new sounds and electronic rhythms. It is the band’s most experimental album and at the same time the most accessible. Opening up to post-punk, primitive sounds and spiritual chants, they begin to include post-industrial hints that would later crystallize in the form of this new album. In search of this new sound, the band decide to record the album in New York with Sean Ragon, leader of the post-Industrial band Cult Of Youth (whom they met after performing together in Barcelona) and occasional guitarist of Psychic TV: the chemistry in the studio was immediate.
