GENESIS BREYER P-ORRIDGE EXHIBITION
'Pandrogeny I & II', the first ever Los Angeles exhibition of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge's art, is coming to Tom of Finland Foundation and Lethal Amounts Gallery from 23rd October 23 - 24th November.

Tickets are on sale now, including special opening previews with tours and talks from Genesis Breyer P-Orridge and a performance pieces from artist Christeene on October 23 & 24.

BLOOD RHYTHMS - 'Civil War - Art Edition' RED LP (No Part Of It) - £28

Blood Rhythms is a constantly morphing collective spearheaded by veteran experimental artist and Chicago native Arvo Zylo. "Civil War" is a culmination of nearly ten years of ongoing studio work; a synthesis of Zylo's main focus: outsider power electronics. The result is something that retains the meticulousness of the studio, but without relinquishing the rawness and fortitude of a full group sonic assault. This LP explores the limitations of consciousness within the body, especially as it relates to the outer collective consciousness, and addresses the paradoxical nature of what most conflicts boil down to: if it is righteous to turn the other cheek, to be in the world but not of it, to die for the sins of others. CORPS - 'Corps' CD (Aussaat) - £12

CORPS is an apocalyptic noise project by the Russian musician and artist Alexey Tegin, better known as the leader of PHURPA. "Corpse is the post-apocalyptic sound of a time to come. World War III destroyed civilisation as we know it. The knowledge of music has gone.. is lost. The survivors start creating their own, new forms of music by building their instruments from what has been left...". This release captures Corps in Moscow in 2016 (over an hour in length). Digipak.

ENTRE VIFS - 'Offrande Et Partage' CD (Aussaat) - £12

An album marking the 2018 resurgence of bruitists Entre Vifs, and the culmination of concentrated sessions at their Noisecraft Workshop in Maisins-Alfort, France. "This is an angrier album than Ontologie, it doesn't let you zone in on the massive assaults of electronic and metal noise, it shifts around too much, you're frequently pulled in and moved around with the work. The destructive qualities of the album literally create cracks to let the light in... were they always this good, or did it take decades to get this good? Epic album, ace progression" (1208 North Fuller Ave Apt 1). Over 70 mins of music accompanied by a 12-page booklet containing images of landscapes, architecture and shots documenting Entre Vifs self-made electronic devices that make up their sounds.

MATHIAS GRASSOW & CLOSING THE ETERNITY - 'Mathias Grassow & Closing The Eternity' CD (Aquarellist) - £15

Reissue of an album by two masters of ambient / drone: German ethno-ambient artist MATHIAS GRASSOW (known for his many respected collaborations with artists such as Alio Die, Tomas Weiss, Klaus Wiese, Jiri Mazánek), and Russian drone-ambient artist CLOSING THE ETERNITY (also known from successful collaborations with artists such as Troum, Ad Lux Tenebrae, Velehentor). Originallly published in 2016 by the Russian label Pantheophania on cassette (Ltd x 77 copies only!) - for this CD edition a new mix was made in January 2018. Ltd x 150 hand-numbered copies in a digipak with stunning artwork by Oleg Galay.

MEGAPTERA - 'A Horse In The Eye Is Part Of The Art' LP + CD (Cloister Recordings) - £19

The final album by Swedish Death Industrial / Death Ambient act Megaptera is comprised of intense new and reworked tracks, including 'Walking Death', a composition created for the 2018 reissue of "Disease". Also features guest collaborator Stephen Petrus of Murderous Vision. Accompanying the LP is a bonus CD containing the landmark live 2014 "Berlin" recording. "An immersive and psychotic experience, this is a welcome return of Megaptera after an extensive hibernation that yielded only dribs and drabs of new / re-recorded material. This album features 4 long-playing tracks which drag the listener down into a grimy, eternally depressing nightmare of psychosis, confusion and eternal isolation. MICHAEL BONAVENTURE - 'In Tenebris Ratione Organi' CD (Eighth Tower Records) - £11.50

Occult chamber music. The organ: in popular association, both the "God Instrument" and the "Devil Instrument"; a purveyor of myriad densities and shades of massed tone, elemental fire and inexhaustible air, capable of inspiring wonder, awe, profound mystery and sinister darkness. The essential nature of the organ, as a synthesizer layering sound upon sound, is controlled by an alchemy very similar to that which generates electronic music. The natural hybridization of these phenomena allows one to explore ever more unearthly dimensions of darkness and mystery, and gives rise to new and bizarre concepts of what organs might be - organs of voices, bells or digital noises and samples, such as those you will encounter on the journey through the imaginary realms of this album. MUSLIMGAUZE - 'Untitled' CD (Aquarellist) - £13

This "nameless" creation was published by Klanggalerie (2000), and in a strange way sends the listener back to 1993, to the albums "Betrayal" and "Veiled Sisters", being their obvious and natural continuation. Slow and soft, either a dub or a lounge with an intoxicating sultry sound it immerses the listener in a light trance. It gives you a feeling as if you are lying down for an afternoon nap somewhere on the outskirts of the Palestinian bazaar, and you have no strength to move to shake off this obsessive stupor. Someone is chatting nearby, something is tapping, somewhere in the vicinity there is incomprehensible life and households... but there is no strength to get up. Not even to open your eyes... because bliss, heat and trance. Incredibly atmospheric and hypnotic hypostasis. Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.

SA BRUXA - 'From The Depths' MCD (Yoshiwara Collective) - £7.50

Hexed electronics via Cagliari / Berlin. A 20 minute dark/death ambient piece, mastered by Michael @ Bladud Flies, known for his mastering work for Current 93. Meaning "The Witch" in the Sardinian language, Sa Bruxa is the haunted solitary vision of Giuseppe Novella. On this new recording, the Italian has distilled his cinematic approach into a single eerie movement of ritual death ambience. Genuinely unsettling, headphones and a stout heart are mandatory for this journey. The artwork is from Ogre who created a monster based on the audio file, which you will see on the back of the CD. So we invite you delve in for fully immersive experience... Gatefold digisleeve.

THE CRAY TWINS - 'In The Company Of Architects' CD (Fang Bomb) - £11

For their second album, The Cray Twins' Paul Baran and Gordon Kennedy have assembled a virtual collective of musicians and sound artists, including Lavinia Blackwall (Trembling Bells), Ryoko Akama (Edges Ensemble), Bruno Duplant (L'Ensemble Instable), Werner Dafeldecker (Polwechsel), Antoine Beuger, Kai Fagaschinski (The International Nothing, The Dogmatics). Starting with the almost 40 minute long title track, "In The Company of Architects" slowly unfolds into a dense exploration of stratified sound. The result is a fascinating piece of acousmatic music; a mix of phonography and distortion, improvisation and unnerving silence, time, tension and release. Minimal but not minimal. The core duo of The Cray Twins take on the role of directors, composers and assemblers, amplifying not only the performance of the collective, but also natural and artificial interferences, incorporating accidental sound sources encountered when arranging the album. 'Instruments' include: electronics, chapel organ, buchla, mellotron, modular synthesizer, temple bells, chimes, microtonal saxophone, flute, spoken word and soprano. Digipak.

THE ROOTSMAN Meets MUSLIMGAUZE - 'Amahar' CD (Aquarellist) - £13

Much rumoured joint album from The Rootsman and Muslimgauze, recorded at the Third Eye Studio, Bradford, UK between 1997 and 1998. Many know that Bryn Jones was on friendly terms for many years and cooperated with John Bolloten (The Rootsman). Several albums were created as a result of their joint creativity. The album "Amahar" was announced at the beginning of the year 2000 but remained unpublished owing to unforeseen circumstances. Unearthed by John last year, this album has been rescued and remastered from the original DAT tape and is now finally released. Produced by The Rootsman and Muslimgauze. Ltd x 340 copies with stunning artwork by Oleg Galay.

VETROPHONIA - 'Kuomintang And Generalissimus Chiang Kaishek' CD (Aquarellist) - £12

Vetrophonia is a collaborative project between Nick Sudnick (ZGA) and Alexander Lebedev-Frontov (Linija Mass), two of the master minds in Russian Post-Industrial culture and muzak. This is a reissue of the album "Kuomintang" (Ultra, 1998) and the mini-album "Generalissimus Chiang Kaishek" (ALF Produkt, 2008) on one CD. For this release Sudnick and Lebedev-Frontov recorded a special bonus track 'Kuomintang 2' in May 2018. Ltd x 300 numbered copies in an outsized foldout cardboard sleeve.

VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Anthology of Contemporary Music From Middle East' CD (Unexplained Sounds) - £11.50

Following the "Anthology Of Contemporary Music from Africa Continent", this new collection released by Unexplained Sounds focuses on experimental and alternative music from the Middle East and includes artists from Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Israel, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Cyprus. A kaleidoscope of sounds by artists rooted in their traditions, but at the same time projected towards the new frontiers of music. The minimal melody of Ahmed Saleh introduces us to the exploration of sound paths that unfold through the electronic experimentation of Cenk Ergun, the radical improvisation of Mazen Kerbaj, the pulsating and disturbed electronics of Tony Elieh, the noise drone of Nyctalllz, the tribal and psychedelic music, in the Velvet Underground style, by Afghan musician Naujawanan Baidar, the lysergic ambient of Bloom Tribe, just to mention some projects included in the compilation. An intricate and exciting sound puzzle in which the listener will find his favorite way to a new promised land of sound. Ltd x 200 copies in a digipak.

MEGAPTERA - 'Disease' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11

Megaptera have been a Death Industrial benchmark since their first recordings back in the early 1990s. The Swedish monster, led by mastermind Peter Nyström (Negru Voda), embodies the most disturbing and gruesome art there is. Alongside other legends, such as Archon Satani, In Slaughter Natives, or Atrax Morgue, the project has haunted our sheltered lives with their highly oppressive sound ever since. The album "Disease", originally released in 1996 by Art Konkret, is no exception to the rule. It is Death Industrial at its best - grim, terrifying and ghastly. The album is bulit like a psychological horror soundtrack, not as harsh as its predecessor - "Beyond The Shadow", but it is darker and will definitely crawl under the listener's skin. The 2018 version is not a mere reissue, though, as it is completed with a brand new 10-minute-long track, which includes additional sound by John Stillings (Steel Hook Prostheses). Mastered by Henrik Nordvargr Björkk (MZ.412). Presented in a 6-panel digipak with artwork by Kellerman Design.

NEGRU PVLSE - 'Fevere' CD (Ur Muzik) - £11

An album that was long in the making. The creative minds of Mathias Josefson (Moljebka Pvlse) and Peter Nyström (Negru Voda, Megaptera) join forces again to return 13 years after their first album "Madeira" (2002, Old Europa Cafe). "Fervere" in Latin stands for 'boil' or 'seethe' and these expressions accurately capture the one hour content of Negru Pvlse’s sophomore release: dark, dense and often rhythmic soundwaves that Megaptera's mastermind is known for and the unique and more dreamy ambient parts by Mathias Josefson. The whole, however, presents itself as a distinct and independent work of a fully developed band, and not as a mere collaboration. "Fervere" is a complex yet highly addictive work.
