ATRAX MORGUE - 'Fourth Injection' LP (Menstrualrecordings) - £20

The master tape of "Fourth Injection" was given by the late Marco Corbelli to Moreno Daldosso (Murder Corporation), to be published on his label Murder Release. The release was planned but, for now forgotten reasons, it never materialised. That master tape was left in a drawer and forgotten for 17 years until it was rediscovered in 2013. True Italian Death Industrial. Ltd x 160 numbered copies housed in a hand-cut / mutilated cover with a double-sided, numbered insert, with release notes on one side and a graphic medical / disease picture on the other, plus a sticker. CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'Lake Of Fire' CD (ADN) - £12

Italian duo Capricorni Pneumatici started in 1987, taking their name from an Aleister Crowley book. This CD is part of their 30th Anniversary and they have produced two new albums to mark the occasion. This album, "Lake Of Fire", presents an ambient and ritual world view that sinks deeply into female vocals. 71 minutes of music using percussion, voices, bowed harp guitar, electronics, music concrete and treatments. CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'Putredini Obnoxius' CD (ADN) - £12

Italian duo Capricorni Pneumatici started in 1987. This CD is part of their 30th Anniversary release series. It should have been their tenth album, originally composed in 1991 for the Portuguese label Putrefactio, but was never published at the time. 26 years later it comes to light in this first edition, The recordings are made up of electric guitar, samples, synths, tapes, strings, field recordings, percussion and voices (including that of Aleister Crowley, whose book they are named after). Mastered from the original 1992 master tape. Digipak.

CAPRICORNI PNEUMATICI - 'Rahoor' CD (ADN) - £12

Italian duo Capricorni Pneumatici started in 1987, taking their name from an Aleister Crowley book. This CD is part of their 30th Anniversary and they have produced two new albums to mark the occasion. "Rahoor", recorded in 2017, is the third part of The Erivar trilogy. They present four songs that show industrial rhythms with a distinctive rhythm and a mysterious ceremonial landscape. 51 minutes of music using percussion, voices, electronics, and treatments. COIL - 'Porto' CD - £16

Porto is the only authorized live recording of a Coil live performance. Coil performed on 21st June 2003 at the Casa da Música Festival in Porto, Portugal. Present on stage that night were Peter Christopherson, Ossian Brown and Thighpaulsandra. John Balance was not part of the lineup. Because of his absence the music on this recording is entirely instrumental. The show was also notable for being Ossian's last appearance with Coil. Tracks: Blue Rats, Triple Sun, Radio Westin, Drip Drop, The First Five Minutes After Death.

The new album by the Moscow based drone ambient project Exit In Grey represents the completion of the symbolic trilogy started by "Shadows Of Stillness" (2013, Muzyka Voln) and continued by "One Lumen From The Past" (2016, Frozen Light). Exit In Grey stays true to his creative method: using an electric guitar, voice, effects, field recordings, radio waves and digital synthesizers he creates spatial sound canvases immersing the listener in gentle, melancholic and contemplative atmospheres and dissolving his attention in endless fields of sonic vibrations. GOAT THRON - 'Infernale Et Diabolicum Violentiam Barbarum... Duo Decennia Pura Satanism...' CD (Heerwegen Tod Productions) - £10.50

A collection of early, raw Black Metal tracks, released to mark the 20th anniversary of Goat Thron, the satanic BM act created by Funeral and Dagon in 1999. After Dagon's suicide, Funeral continued as a solo project, eventually disbanding in 2001. "Infernale et Diabolicum Violentiam Barbarum" is a mix of 3 demos recorded between 2000-2001, filled with raw and primitive black metal guitars and vocals, with keyboard elements. Chaotic and spontaneous music, with radical and blasphemous lyrics, giving a specific atmosphere of old raw black metal. Features a Rotting Christ cover. Funeral later reactivated Goat Thron in 2004, this time as mix of industrial / noise / dark ambient with black metal ideology - Satanism, blasphemy and W.A.R. against christianity. He also records as Dark Ambient act Sealed In Blood.

LUNAR ABYSS DEUS ORGANUM - 'Onika' CD (BioSonar) - £12

This is a dedication album, a return to the realm of dreams, when pictures and associations replace each other and fade out, dissolving like water into water. Reflections on childhood days, already so unreal, distant... forgotten words that have lost their former sense, and even form, leaving only sensations. Acoustic events allude to slumber and evoke transparent scenes, scents and echoes from the depths of memories. Moss blankets and golden leaves, berry patterns framing mushrooms, stone ridges melting in swamp fog, fibers of attention and scales of memory - fragments of the vast ocean of images. The multilayered fabric of the narrative changes slowly, the character of sound changes imperceptibly. LUNAR ABYSS DEUS ORGANUM - 'Uzor' CD (BioSonar) - £12

The third "real" CD by LADO combines tracks recorded in 2002-2004 and due to various circumstances were initially spread over various compilations and EPs ("Heilige Feuer III", "Thalamus II", "Holy Mother Russia", "Listopad Vot On", "Brusnika"). Now the circle is closed and this CD represents the pieces almost in the same order as they were created. The album reflects a certain period of creativity and especially author's interest in proto-Eurasian cultures. The compositions are created from acoustic and electronic structures, drum and noise loops, voice samples, scientific and journalistic recordings and deep wave drones. LUNAR ABYSS DEUS ORGANUM / VANUM - 'Ulm-Gra / Pelena Sna' CD (BioSonar) - £12

Lunar Abyss presents two tracks of solo immersions of Evgeniy S. in droning waves, saturated by tube cascades; the third track was recently found unreleased fragment of a concert from 25 October 1999 at the Experimental Sound Gallery - 21, the remarkable performance for the project which provided material for creating two albums: "Cosmologamma" and "Zeleznaya Voda". The four pieces by Vanum, hailing from the city of Tolyatti, continue the shamanic mood and isolationist discourse. The compositions are based on the sound of Soviet analogue synths with minimal processing which makes them airy, bright and hypnotic at the same time. This is not relaxing music; it mesmerizes and brings the listener to a pleasant stupor, full of psychedelic vigor... a veil of a dream calling up visions. MARIO LINO STANCATI - 'Cross The Desert' CD (Unexplained Sounds) - £12

Mario Lino Stancati is an actor, director, playwright, poet, musician and composer. In 2007 he founded the theatre company "Hotel de la Béance"; in 2009 he wrote the novel-poem "Lo Mal d'Umore", while in 2010 the philosophical anthology "The thought and the voice of philosophers. From Kant to Heidegger" and in 2014 the poetical outline "In equilibrium on nothing", among other writings. Those works highly influenced his work as musician. Not chained to any individual musical genre (he crosses progressive ambient, concrete music and avant-garde composition) and motivated to explore any form of experimentation with music, he developed methodologies and expressive practices capable of merging both vocal performativity and guitar playing. MAURIZIO BIANCHI - 'Gene-P' CD (Menstrualrecordings) - £13.50
Reissue of this cult old school Italian Industrial work, originally released as a private cassette in 1980. Decompostion for electrostatic loops and genewaves, conceived and released in April 1980 at Mectpyo Studio in Milan, Italy. An acoustic drone reminiscent of MB's disturbing and meditative gamelan. A startling rare sound source that invites you to listen to something that is not here. This reissue featuring 60 mins of classic M.B. recordings has been remastered from the original tape. The cover images are 1980 artworks by M.B. Ltd x 100 copies in a glossy digipak.

MAURIZIO BIANCHI - 'Menses' LP + CD (Menstrualrecordings) - £23

Originally released in a private edition of 300 copies in 1982. "The pyramidal construction of these two "suites", with its intentionally brutal and grotesque deformations, elaborates on overflowing and apocalyptical collapse, dragging a completely dissolvent conception of the world and of the para-industrial sound... Let M.B. be your executioner!" (Boomkat). This new re-issue is pressed on 180 gram black vinyl and includes a bonus CD of the album (on CD proper for the first time). The cover is rubber stamped on front and back cover as with the original 1982 pressing, and the labels and insert replicate the original artworks. Ltd x 100 numbered copies.

MERZBOW - 'Collection 006' CD (Menstrualrecordings) - £13.50

A reissue of a rare 1982 tape from Japanese Noise legend Merzbow, originally released by Lowest Music & Arts (Masami Akita's own label). This recording is even more of a rarity because the line-up consisted of Akita and Kiyoshi Mizutani (Scum). This is the first reissue in CD format of an early masterpiece in which sound fragments with a strong sense of substance - that are neither noise nor improvisation - are arranged in a rugged manner. A reissue of a rare 1981 tape from Japanese Noise legend Merzbow, originally released by Lowest Music & Arts (Masami Akita's own label). MERZBOW - 'Dying Mapa Tapes' 3 x CD Set (Menstrualrecordings) - £30

The "Dying Mapa" trilogy, originally released on three cassettes in 1983 by Aeon (and later as part of the "Merzbox"), was inspired by the Nyingmapa school of Tibetan Buddhism. Musically, the whole trilogy is made with different equipment and instruments than other recordings of the same period. It also features instruments recorded on tape and then either slowed down or played backwards. Recorded in spring 1982 by Masami Akita (Tapes, Guitar, Drum Machine, Noise, Effects, Percussions, Rhythm, Radio, TV, Electronics, Junk, Bass Guitar) and Kiyoshi Mizutani (Violin, Percussion). Re-mastered at Munemihouse, Tokyo 2018. Ltd x 200 copies in a jute bag, containing each CD presented in an individually designed card sleeve, and accompanied by 2 pin badges.

MERZBOW / ASKEW - 'Level' LP (Rustblade) - £19

"Level" brings together two noise projects on this vinyl-only release. Side one features MERZBOW, one of the most prolific and respected artists in the world of experimental noise. Side two features ASKEW, a collective of artists, musicians and producers from the Rustblade label headed by Justin Bennett (Skinny Puppy, Bahntier) and Jeff "Squigg" Smith (Ohgr, Hate Dept). Both projects embrace a sonic philosophy based on free experimentation and improvisation utilizing analogue instruments such as modular synthesizers, as well as environmental audio samples and unique noise producing objects. The results are a wall of sound and noise that move the listener through emotional and cathartic sonic waves. A real treat for lovers noise, and those in search of sonic extremes. MERZBOW / SCUM - 'Scissors For Cutting Up Merzbow' 3 x LP + 2 x CD Set (Menstrualrecordings) - £52

First ever official vinyl re-issue of a classic 1988 Masami Akita side project: SCUM (with Kiyoshi Mizutani). The project employs a variety of techniques to create new works from older Merzbow releases: junk electronics, tapes, guitar, keyboards, drums, bowed instruments, radio, motors, piano wires, other raw materials... "SCUM is an experiment in changing the context of our own music to create new forms. It's like the disposal of Merzbow into the air... I mean the ongoing process of production. Nothing is really destroyed or disappears, as recycling is part of production. It's a natural and necessary part of post-capitalism. There should be no illusion of only production, as was the case with early industrialization. Present re-production systems point in the direction of a future hyper-dimension of physics. We no longer use a dialectical approach in our disposal/recycling system, only a forward movement to the reproduction of re-production" (Masami Akita). Originally published on LP in 1989 by Masami Akita's own label ZSF Produkt, it was re-issued in an expanded version on CD as part of the legendary "Merzbox" in 2000. This re-issue includes the expanded version on three LPs and two CDs (both formats contain the same tracks). Remastered from original DAT. MILUSIC - 'Dance Mystique' CD (ADN) - £12

In his first solo album, Roberto Milusic Migliussi - poet, musician, mail artist and painter - takes his first cassettes cut-up experiments of the '80s, using samples from radio broadcasts and ethnic sounds, subsuming them in an electronic drum and bass background of hypnotic trance. Dance Mystique delivers a bunch of electronic rides based on involving rhythms and a large palette of sounds exuding mysticism. The result has been mastered by Devis Granziera, aka Lunus, from the infamous combo Teatro Satanico. Roberto Milusic Migliussi was the founder of the influential magazine Idola Tribus during the mid '80s. He spread knowledge of Austin Osman Spare translating and publishing the his most important works. Digipak.

MIRA DREVO - 'Dreams of Abandoned Villages' CD (Electrotapes Archive) - £12

This album of the St. Petersburg folk ambient project Mira Drevo is dedicated to the numerous abandoned villages of the Russian North. The idea of this work came to the author during ethnographic trips inspired by an interest in Russian folklore and village culture. Many field recordings were collected: the stories of the elderly - about an uneasy life, war, beliefs and traditions; creaking floorboards of abandoned houses; rustling of spirits in the branches of dead apple trees; sounds of a cranberry swamp... Additional recordings were made on Solovki, on the Vottovaara mountain and in the Karelian woods. Some of the acoustic instruments were captured during these trips on a portable recorder and later woven into the fabric of minimalistic synthesizer ambient. A significant contribution to the sound of this album was made by the soulful vocals of Anastasiya Kharchenko who sang several folk songs and lyric poems. ROBERTO MUSCI & GIOVANNI VENOSTA & CHRIS CUTLER - 'Vampyr And Other Stories' CD (ADN) - £12

In the late 1980's two globetrotting Milanese composers joined forces to produce an acclaimed and prescient record made in equal parts from their own performances and ethnic field recordings, a little in the manner of Eno / Byrne's "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" - but rather more evolved. This 30th anniversary release includes some early pieces, not already available on CD and mainly features the entirety of their score for Theodore Carl Dreyer's legendary silent film, "Vampyr" - performed by themselves and percussionist Chris Cutler. A mixture of acoustic and electronic resources in tableaux as stark as the movie itself - Tibetan bells, Indonesian flute, ocarina, Vietnamese zither, electronics, drums and flotsam. RUGGERO TAJÉ - 'Antologica (1976-1999)' CD (ADN) - £12

Ruggero Tajé is one of the electronic Italian pioneers of the '70s. He started as a jazz drummer, was one of the pupils of Italian electronic composer Angelo Paccagnini and then took up guitar as his main instrument. He rarely released music until recently, with "Antologica (1976-1999)" showig his evolution over those years. The album spans Kosmische sounds, treated guitar, metallophones, de-structured jazz, concrete sounds, noises and percussions, as well as computer music, contemporary electronics, guitar, samples and atmospheric synths. This work reproduces a wide range of climates and it may be seen as an accurate survey of the formative path of an artist who still has a relevant role in Italian electronic music scene. Digipak.

SOCIETE ANONOMIE (PRODUKTION) - '#1' CD (Menstrualrecordings) - £13.50

Societe Anonomie was Ross Cannon, Christine Glover and Paul Hurst. Originally from Tasmania (Cannon) and Australia (Glover and Hurst) they formed Produktion when they moved to London in 1978. In London they opened Produktion Hair hairdressers salon where they cut "supercuts" while playing Industrial Music all day. They also made super 8 films, animations, fanzines and tapes. Some of their obscure tapes saw them collaborating with artists such as John Duncan, Merzbow, Club Moral, Toshiji Mikawa (Incapacitants) and Nurse With Wound. All Produktion tapes are nowadays very hard to come by and sought after. Originally published on tape in 1983 by Produktion, UK, this CD edition of their only album has been remastered from the original tape. Experimental cut-ups / tape loops / Industrial. SONOLOGYST - 'Unexplained Sounds' CD (Unexplained Sounds) - £12

Reissue of the 2014 album from Italy's Sonologyst, presented on CD proper for the first time, with 2 added bonus tracks and new artwork. Many people all around the world hear strange sounds emanating from the sky, or from the depths of the ocean, or from deep underground. In many cases these sounds remain unidentified while science still can't provide an explanation for this phenomenon. This album lies somewhere between musical fiction and the reality of field recordings. It runs from unidentified sounds heard in Finland and Canada, to possible sounds of deep water mermaids, and the sounds broadcast by the Andromeda galaxy. Remastered. Ltd x 200 copies in a digipak.

This is the first album by Stalingrad, showcasing the more orchestral side of KIRLIAN CAMERA side-project. An outstanding mixture of bombastic, pompous orchestration, combining neofolk elements with neoclassical and industrial atmospheres. This debut album was originally released in 2002 by SPKR and is now presented on vinyl for the first time. Oppressive neoclassical music, utilising martial percussion and heavenly voices, though some tracks have a more industrial feel. Features the hit tracks "Der Letzte Flug" and "The Road On Which You'll Die". Ltd x 250 hand-numbered copies. Highly recommended!

THE NEW BLOCKADERS - 'The Pulp Sessions' LP (Menstrualrecordings) - £22

Fans of Noise music will need no introduction to the work of TNB. In 1984, TNB collaborated with David Jackman / Organum on the Pulp 7" which has been cited as one of the most influential Noise records ever. Two short excerpts from the Pulp sessions were included on the 7". This LP features two (approx) 20-minute outtakes from these legendary recordings and are classic examples of early TNB. The tracks have been edited / mixed by Michael Gillham (TNB / Nihilist Assault Group / Vagina Dentata Organ.) An essential release for any TNB / Noise aficionado. VARIOUS ARTISTS - 'Ode To Marco Veronesi' CD (ADN) - £12

A compilation dedicated to the late Marco Veronesi, who founded the ADN label, in the 80's with Alberto Crosta, Piero Bielli and Rudy Pavesi. Without ADN and Marco the Italian / International experimental scene would have been much less important and relevant than it was, including releasing the very first Sigillum S LP, "Boudoir Philosophy" and introducing thousands of people to endless examples of gorgeous noise and industrial provocation. This compilation features a number of artists who were fundamental in the development of ADN during the 1980's: Angelo Avogardi, Bene Gesserit, Cellula Ascolto Attivo, Christina Kubisch, DDAA, Francesco Paladino, La 1919, La STPO, Merzbow, Ralf Wehowsky, Riccardo Sinigaglia, Sigillum S, T.A.C., Tasaday, The Motor Totemist Guild. CLOSING THE ETERNITY - 'Forever And A Day' CD (Muzyka Voln) - £11

After 15 years of activity, the Russian project Closing The Eternity hardly needs an introduction. In its music the project aims to digress from everything earthly and mundane, bringing attention to the phenomena and processes lying outside of the realm of human existence. Three long tracks flowing one into another dissolve the listener's attention in endless tides of gentle electronic ambience. An absolutely pacifying and tranquil work imbued with a majestic contemplative atmosphere. Reissue of LPD's 2002 CD release (S.P.K.R.). Synesthesia serves as a companion to Chemical Playschool Volumes 11, 12 and 13, with eight indexed tracks, 57 minutes total, and 28 minutes worth of Premonitions smack dab in the middle. The dominating sound is electronic via synths, samples and programmed drums and the majority of the album is instrumental sound pieces. Shining Path and The More It Stays the Same are the two lyrical songs, delightful ones at that, but even they dissolve into audio experimentation. The Premonitions are, as always, fantastic escapes. Numbers 26 and 28 range from the faintest stirrings of mist and found sound to angry resonance and rhythmic clickety-clack. The closer, Kalos Melas, features the cutest marching melody you'll likely hear this year. Contains rare live renditions of "The More It Stays the Same" and "The Divide".
