The very first 10" vinyl record from Swedish sound artist BJ Nilsen (Morthound, Hazard, Tape Decay) in a career spanning more than 20 years. "Distant Brilliance" contains two new 10-minute long musique concrete / ambient tracks, namely 'The Question' (with breathing by Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson of Stilluppsteypa), and 'The Answer', both composed especially for this release.

Recorded at Odd Phasing and Echoes, Amsterdam, Netherlands. Ltd x 100 copies in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with images created by Stefano Gentile - the layers of abstraction and decay in the artwork were the catalyst for the music. Comes with hand-numbered printed vellum obi strip.
