Quest is one of the solo projects of Frans de Waard, best known for his projects Beequeen, Freiband, THU20, Goem, Kapotte Muziek, etc.

On this CD you will find five excursions into ambient music; something hovering at the fringe where ambient meets experimental and electronic music. Ambient music for Quest is the field where musicians can explore sound frequencies, minimalist changes and enveloping modules. On "Electro-City" you will find three long examples of this, bracketed by two short tracks that act as prologue and epilogue.
