"Destroying The Vampire" contains Ikon's studio album "Destroying The World To Save It" (2005) and the EP "Psychic Vampire" (2004) in a remastered version, plus unreleased bonus material. This album presents the more Goth Rock side of the band.

Ikon are one of the oldest members of the Australian Gothic / New Wave scene. Inspired by bands like Joy Division and New Order, the band started in 1993 and are still active today. Their own mixture of Goth Rock, Post-Punk, Darkwave and Neofolk is as versatile as it is consistent, and band head Chris McCarter has always remained true to himself and his fans.
