On 31st January 2022, Hydra Ensemble performed at De Pletterij in Haarlem (NL). Chamber improvisation combining acoustic stringed instruments (Lucija Gregov on cello, Nina Hitz on cello, Gonçalo Almeida on double bass), and live electronics by Rutger Zuydervelt (Machinefabriek).
This full concert recording shows the musicians' craftsmanship. It also highlights the fact that a creative electronic engineer does not need the privacy of a recording studio to do his job perfectly. Hydra Ensemble is an electroacoustic quartet based in Rotterdam.
