"TO/OT" is the second collaboration from the duo comprising FABIO ORSI and the Italian interdisciplinary artist and independent researcher MAURIZIO MARTINUCCI (aka TeZ), mostly known for his collaboration with ADI NEWTON in CLOCK DVA.
They continue in a straight line along the 'furrow' already traced with the previous album "OT/TO" (2002), inverting the 'position' of the roles in the control room. Electronic patterns and rhythmic parts describe a synthetic universe where filters emphasise progression, and soft and evocative pads envelop the sound sketches.
"TO/OT" offers a sense of space, warmth and depth, between ambient and electronic music of evident Teutonic derivation, but modernised and made even more articulate and captivating through the use of the most contemporary technological instruments.
