Gruntsplatter was born in 1994 as a malleable creature that congealed somewhere in the grey area between Death Industrial, Noise and Dark Ambient.

With "Dragging The Rivers Of Sleep", Gruntsplatter awoke from a 5-year slumber, ahead of the new album "Dowsing In The Cancer Lands" (Crionic Mind). This is a collection of rare tracks recorded 1999-2015: from impossible to find compilations, to alternative versions, plus four previously unreleased tracks.

From the mid 90's to the mid 2000's, Gruntsplatter remained as one of the most original and consistent outfits in dystopian Industrial / Noise / Dark Ambient circles with his particular brand of dread-inducing textures, menacing slow-shifting dynamics and eerie droning soundscapes.
