Musta Toteemi is the collaborative project of Veli-Matti "Läjä" Äijälä (The Kolmas, Vihan Miehet, Death Trip, Terveet Kädet) and Toni Kandelin (SSRI, Kolmas Ilmestys!). "Musta Toteemi" takes the listener to the dark layers of the subconscious through hypnotic rhythms, meditative drones, and magical oscillator noise. The duo relies on the hypnotic power of minimalism and repetition - not everything is really what it sounds or looks like, but beneath the layers lies another frightening and fascinating alternative reality.
