Italian guitarist / vocalist Filomena Rubino deals in sonic textures and tones. FE<MALE FOU’s distinct yet evolving dissonant sound can be loosely described as lo-fi ambient / drone with overtones of early industrial noise and no wave avant-garde experimentalism.

According to the artist: "In Germany there is a statue of a mule that represents stupidity - human stupidity. It’s the Donkey of Biberach, which is made out of human bones. The "murder" is like something that stops this kind of human stupidity".
