• DID - 'End Of Xibalba' CD

"End Of Xibalba" is a full-length, solo album of DID (aka Hania Piosik), an artist who has collaborated with Michal Jablonki and is also a member of Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra. Her latest album reveals a slightly different approach of the artist, who composes music on the edge of drone and ambient genres. Her live performances which refer to the concept of "End of Xibalba" (Xibalba - the mythological place of fear and pain) are accompanied by a vocal story that guides the listener through the peculiar corridors of their interiors. The fact that the story is told in a language that does not actually exist might seem troublesome... or perhaps this story denudation from contemporarily known words brings us closer to understanding what is really important for the individual recipient. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel digipak.
