Splintered present their first new album since the 1996 collaboration with Germany's musique concrete artist, RLW.
Bringing together several new songs of a lengthy, hypnotic and atmospheric nature, "Between Scylla And Charybdis" sees the original lineup of Richard Johnson (Fourth Dimension boss / Theme / Grim Humour zine), James Machin, Steve Pittis (Dirter boss / Band Of Pain), Paul Dudeney, and Paul Wright joined by Stuart Carter (Theme, The Fields of Hay).
Deploying the same combination of rock instrumentation, electronics, location recordings, loops and mostly submerged vocals they were always known for, "Between Scylla And Charybdis" is an often intense reflection of the stormy times it was recorded in. This is the sixth album the group have produced since they began in 1990 and the first since their hiatus of 1997.
Mastered by Siôn Orgon. Digipak.
