Japanoise King Masami Akita delivers an unrestrained Noise album in best Merzbow style with live free-jazz / psych drums which turn into more rhythmic and beating ones, and additional electronics / synth work.
Recorded November 2008, this is a very rhythmic Merzbow album! Four loud 'parts', wild and crippling, but diverse in their sound compositions, with their own rhythms, movements, their own mood and even, as it may seem upon careful listening, with their own melodies. Behind the roar of feedback and the swirl of strange "cosmic" sounds (the beginning of the third part brings to mind Acid Mothers Temple), psychedelic noise is hidden a furious, animal power, spilling out of the quiet Japanese man, striving to convey his beliefs to the maximum number of people.
The title is an anti-sheep shearing statement, and the artwork depicts sheared sheep asking you not to steal his coat! Ltd x 1000 copies. Long sold out from the label.
