"This piece is the newest element in the ongoing Garden Of Instruments project which began in 1997 with "Second Site". Since then the project has expanded to include sound, writings, video, virtual photography, printmaking, light-boxes, installations and lenticulars. The new piece, which at one hour and twenty-five minutes is broken across two CDs, further explores the astronomical / architectural phenomena of the Janta Manta instruments. To me they have always stood as monuments that collapse the illusions of time and place: non places that bend chronology and thinking in unprecedented ways; physical markers of paradigm shift and poly sensory exploration" (Paul Schütze).

Composed by Paul Schütze on electronics, steel drums, and melodica, the album also features bowed guitar, e-bow and electronic textures and loops by Daniel Pennie (Nose In Your Eye).
