"Dedicated to the Far East [it] offers a decidedly varied panorama, not necessarily characterized by unmistakable specifically ethnic elements, also evident in episodes such as the exotic 'The Hungry Fisherman' by the Chinese artist Baishui or in the rhythmic 'Menolak Tunduk, Refuse to Submit' by the Indonesian artist Wukir Suryadi.

Of notable suggestion, with a ritual imprint, are the contributions of Senyawa, a duo also from Indonesia, with 'Istana', recorded live, in which a liturgical voice unfolds among threatening and solemn sounds, or from the Chinese formation Ying Shui Di Jiang, with a 'Jam At W Art Space' featuring an esoteric aroma highlighted by the flute.

The representation of tracks categorized as drone music is extensive, with distinctly dark inflections in the case of Chunyang Yao and Andy Chia and glitch patches in the case of the Japanese artist Ryo Murakami. In the avant-garde dimension are the Taiwanese artist Gina Lo, between field recordings and mournful vocalizations, the elusiveness of 'Torturing Piano' by the South Korean artist Sangwon Lee, and the abstract minimalism of the Singaporean artist Irving Paul Pereira" (Blow Up Mag).
