The Days Are Blood was formed in 2009 by Italian sound-manipulator Gabriele Santamaria, who has a history of guitar-driven noise-industrial / dark ambient with experimental sound-explorers I Burn and Ordeal (on labels such as Eibon, Old Europa Cafe, State-Art, etc.). Originally a duo, The Days Are Blood self-released their first MCD "Domfote Receive 360.0 Vaaler” in 2013, playing improv-oriented drum tracks surrounded by fathomless layers of old-school dark ambient and guitar drones. Coming back afresh in 2021 as a one member line-up, "Logica Dello Sciame" is made up of aural anti-phrasing, granular ambience, drones and harsh harmoniana.
