"Quarenta Planícies Escarpadas A Cinzel" ("Forty Rugged Chisel Plains") is a brilliant album filled with ritual and experimental drone music from Portugal.

Run Arbos present a melancholic and introspective journey about the geometry of life and its various textures and shapes, ambiences and harshnesses. A mixture of Noise, Dark Ambient, and metallic Drone, the tracks have a heavy ritual feel, with dark strings and deep male voices bringing visions of a demonic choir. But a charismatic touch is also infused throughout the tracks by the use of traditional instruments, flirting with tribal rhythms.
