After two demos and a trilogy of albums (on OEC, Tesco and Unrest), the triple-headed Nordic monster BØLTORN (inc. Sweden's Nordvargr of MZ. 412 / FOLKSTORM fame), decided to call it quits. The goals were achieved, there was nothing more to accomplish. In their wake they did however leave one recording behind; a private "live in the studio" session recorded in January 2022.
These recordings are the most uncompromising ones the band ever did and fuelled by anger, rage and alcohol in the company of good friends, this is as hard and good as it gets. This is true old school industrial music , and yet brings something new to the table. Harsh textures of jagged waveforms, distorted drums, a commanding vocal presence cutting through the noise.
