"Weathering" is an album of physical, organic sounds performed across multiple temporalities, with an emphasis on density, texture, and concussion. Elemental music for things left buried in the ground.

Kjostad weaves together an organic tapestry of man-made and natural sonics. Capturing highly personal sounds focused on northern Minnesota, Aune takes these moments and introduces layers of electronics and magnetic tape.

Originally released as a very limited triple cassette box set on New Forces, this is a welcome reissue of the immersive, textural work as a double CD, reaching more ears and unearthing buried artifacts. Mastered by Grant Richardson (Gnawed). 6-panel double digipak.
