Neurotransmitters are chemical messengers that help nerve cells communicate with each other. Referring to this concept, "Neurotransmitters-Sphere-Music" consists of four pieces (over an hour) showcasing Jarl's trademark psychedelic, hypnotic approach, based on minimal sequencing, analogue pulsating synthesizers chords and repetitive percussive layers.

Swedish musician Erik Jarl has been active since 1999, principally as Jarl, but also a member of IRM, Skin Area, Kaiten, and Sharon's Last Party. Jarl composes his music through a total analogue approach with the use of synthesizers, analogue sequencers, waveform generators, and oscillators, as well as several echo/reverb and delay units.
