S.I.B. was an early project of Peter Andersson (Raison D'Etre, Stratvm Terror, Necrophorus, Atomine Elektrine), Tobias Larsson (Stratvm Terror), and Daniel Jansson (Althorn), active between 1991-1993.
This album consists of a collection of (demo) tracks from the Swedish act, with the name Swelling Itching Brain taken from a Devo track from 1979. Despite never having released anything officially, the band did a number of live shows in the Mjölby region, first playing a synth-EBM mixture, later embracing a more harsh style which would become the seed of Stratvm Terror. Some of the last S.I.B. tracks were even used for Stratvm Terror.
Highly recommended for fans of early Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly, Delerium, Mentallo & The Fixer, and Leæther Strip. Ltd x 300 copies in a glossy digipak.
