"Grey Zone" is a split between two Silesian projects whose electronics fits into the industrial aesthetic - bass heavy with elements of techno and rhythmic noise. Illbient motor skills, a heavy foot and the use of raw, rough sounds serve as a carrier of emotions, intensifying the impression of a dense, stuffy dehumanized atmosphere in which our imagination is freed to draw subsequent frames of a film in our heads, played in slow motion, realizing dystopian visions of the inevitable.
The term "the grey zone" is defined as "competitive interactions among and within state and non-state actors that fall between the traditional war and peace duality". Despite many similarities between both Larmo (Miroslaw Matyasik of C.H. District) and Nothing Has Changed (Michal Kielbasa of Harmony of Struggle, Lugola, Whalesong), each is implemented using its own, individual musical language. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6-panel ecopak with photos by Kaja Cyfka.
