The brand album of Contortus comes quick after their previous album for Freak Animal ("The Truth Is An Incurable Wound", 2023), but it is a masterpiece of heavy electronics / industrial / experimental brutality.

The Finnish duo of Vesa-Antti Puumalainen & Pete Härmä return to the finest Finnish caveman power electronics / industrial noise. Each song presents a different soundscape of heavy synthesizers, physical sounds, aggressive vocals, and rhythmic patterns. Among contemporary power electronics, Contortus stands out with their talented craftsmanship and compositions. It is sheer vulgar violence, yet with a high dose of artistic merit.
