Cataclysmic freedom from the north of France. Recorded in a cave in Metz, Mesa Of The Lost Women are Christophe Sorro, Yves Botz and Junko (Hijokaidan) on vocals. A wall of free playing scree, capturing a rebellion of form, a breakout, the final end of the surge for liberation. A full-blown primal scream, Sorro's drums, at times processed through junky effects, flit between all-out assault battery and wall of white noise, while the Skullflower-ish distorto-murk of Botz's guitar work elevates the relationship between movement and effect to increasingly featureless effect. Dynamics shift subtly and the whole stew is hammered into a 30 minute work out by the throat lacerating screams of Junko.
