Dedicated to infamous Austrian blood performance artist Hermann Nitsch. With a definite nod to The New Blockaders, The New Movement (Kenny Johansson and Tony Eriksson) emerged from the intention to create a new form of anti-art with a nostalgic feeling but soon moved further into the 'philosophy of nothing'. They wrote the manifesto 'X' even before they ever recorded something in the name of The New Movement. With KH12 Quartet (Matthias Horn and Phillip Zimmermann), they recorded this tribute to Nitsch in Sweden. "Acoustic objects are hand cranked in front of a microphone and then fed through a bunch of sound effects, while the original bursts of acoustics remain intact... some thought went into producing these noise pieces, of cracking acoustic objects, loops of metallic rumble and spacing out distortion over the pieces itself. I am not sure, but surely this is music that mister Nitsch would like as a backdrop to his performances as it sounds like the sound of destruction and decay... quite lovely all around. (Vital Weekly. Ltd x 90 copies on 'blood splattered' picture disc, with paste-on sleeves.
