A collection of rare material from the Tolkien-inspired fantasy Ambient Metal project of Hugin (Alexander Wieser of Hrefnesholt, Hrossharsgrani), with guest appearances from members from Venom, NDE, and Rauhnacht. "Elbenjahre" is a companion album to "Elbenglanz", where Uruk Hai's legions of fans chose their favourite songs. However, this 'best of' collection features Hugin's own selection of personal highlights from the battle years 2004-2015, including demo versions. All Uruk-Hai releases, focused on J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth works - The Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit etc, impart tales of orcs, dwarves and elves, painting aural pictures of The Misty Mountains, Gorgoroth, Lothlórien, Durin's Halls and beyond.
