Kazuma Kubota, the flag-bearer of the Post Harsh Noise scene presents material which laid the foundation of his present work. Originally released as a 3" CDR by Pitchphase in 2010, the field recordings on "A Sense Of Loss" remind you of ordinary life, emotional drone/ambient and the cut-up noise that cuts in and creates a contrast that goes beyond simple noise music. It's a masterpiece that creates drama like no other. A track that was initially supposed to be included has also been added, and this is the long-awaited complete version. "Essential documents of the cut-up noise resurgence. Kubota's knife-sharp compositions contain more action and more ideas than many artists' entire careers" (William Hutson). Mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate, O.L.D.) who has skillfully updated the tracks into a modern style with solid audio / sound image. Comes in a jewelcase with 12-page full-colour booklet containing many photographs of sceneries that Kubota himself has taken. Also comes with protective slipcase.
