The idea behind "Methexis" was to bring the jazz concept of interplay into an electronic environment and try to make different worlds (jazz, ambient, drone) collide. An album about the continuing interplay between the one and many: imagined and written by one person, given to six musicians to be played, returned to the one for electronic processing.

The 'one' is Milan's drone-experimentalist Borda / Teo Ravelli; the musicians are the band Aether (Andrea Grumelli on electric bass, Andrea Ferrari on electric guitar, Andrea Serino on rhodes and Teo Ravelli on drums), plus Maria Torelli on double bass and Rosarita Crisafi on flute.
