New Wave / acoustic / ethereal group Le Masque was founded in Milan in 1979 by Edgardo Moia Cellerino and Tiberio Boncristiano.

This is a CD reissue of their 1986 12" "Colloquio", enriched by the complete recordings of their performance at the Club Tenco Festival in 1990, and a previously unreleased cover of Luigi Tenco's track 'Lontano Lontano'. The album is inspired by the Twilight School and in particular the 1906 poem "A Day" by Carlo Vallini, from which Le Masque borrow the title track. Vallini, along with Gozzano and Corrazzini is among the founders of this poetic movement of the first years of 20th century.
