Rife with tension and eerie electronica, "Herbsticht" depicts a dark space where an uncertain future meets an equally unsettling past. That ominous thread is woven throughout the six dark ambient songs (46 mins). Form and texture shifts along the way... but that sense of unease never really disperses. There are hints of narrative and found sounds lingering in the background. Bringing greater texture rather than meaning, the imagination is left to its own devices, grappling with dread, and dreaming thoughts better left buried.

The album cover presents a stark city street with old cars and trees bereft of leaves. The titles allude to autumnal and wintry themes of death and decay. Where will the journey take you?
