Vond is the darker side of Norwegian dungeon synth wizard Mortiis.

Recorded in 1996, Vond's second album, "The Dark River", was originally released through Mortiis’ own Dark Dungeon Music label that year. This is classic 90's dark dungeon synth / dark ambient with a somewhat more expansive, atmospheric approach than the debut album "Selvmord".

The hypnotic tracks, using samples and different melody structures from other Mortiis works, make this the perfect bridge between the gut-wrenching melancholy of "Selvmord", and the third and final offering, "Green Eyed Demon".
