"When fish enter the fields through channels from the lakes to spawn, you sit on a bump with a spear and wait for the slightest splash. Your gaze drowns in the arms of the sky and water fused together by the sun. Last year's raspy grass has turned into a brown brew under the surface of the water. The rifts quietly murmur and the wind is cut by the grass of marsh knolls. Little spiders, waiting for a new gust of wind, break away from the bog and fly wherever they look. Myriads of transparent threads, saddled by microscopic riders, give birth to bizarre dances that can only be seen here and there. It feels like you've gone deaf and numb after spending all day in the field. Your cheeks are already burning from the sun and wind. Squelching in your wading boots and taking your catch, you quietly leave".
