• NIKO SKORPIO - 'Themes And Variations' CD

"The Unfolding" is an audiovisual projected installation for darkened space. It provides a space for inner contemplation by combining abstract imagery and sounds in an environment that encourages silence and arrest. This album is based on recordings made for the installation piece. They have been developed further to function on their own, untethered from the projected imagery. The purpose remains the same: to create new spaces and events in the mind of the listener. The audio - inner space drone, space-ambient, electroacoustic - is based on field recordings from various locations and occurrences, studio experiments, TH€€€F sampling technologies and secret ingredients.
