A rich journey back to the roots of romanticism, dedicated to John Keats, Lord George Gordon Byron and Percy Bisshe Shelley. The title is taken from John Keats' tombstone. Dying at just 25, in 1821, Keats told his friend Joseph Severn that he didn't want his name to appear on his tombstone, but the line "... Here lies one whose name was writ in water". The first track is by Sol Invictus, consisting of Tony Wakeford and Gary Parsons (Sleeping Pictures). A melancholic and slow piece of music, with a sad atmosphere. HaWthorn (Tony Wakeford & Matt Howden) offer two tracks: "Degenerate Leander" is a beautiful violin-led adaptation of a poem by Byron; "When The Lamp Is Shattered" is a sung poem of Shelley, with a more experimental touch. Sieben closes the CD with "Missolonghi Sky", a fantastic composition with lyrics inspired by Byron. Presented in a white digipak with 12-page booklet.
