BESTATTUNSINSTITUT - 'Glandular Formations' LP (Verlag System) - £18

A compilation of the original tapes from Bestattungsintitut (aka Siegmar Fricke / Pharmakustik), recorded between 1988-1992, for all the lovers of experimental sounds, industrial electronic music and dark ambient. "An endemic prologue, with compressed splinters, in order to approach to a complementary quagmire of electro-cardiogramming sonorities. The fatalist evolution of torrential modulations are increasing with cruel draining to ultimate an abyssal synthesis. At the end, sombre and misshapen sounds are piercing the ovular prediction, with impregnated overlappings exhalating the salubrious transparency. At the beginning, trembling noises in a misanthropic hegemony, flavour some bloody waterfalls of concrete sculptures, to develop quivering perceptions. The nourishing electroacoustic waves impose pulmonary frustrations with extremistic disruptions to decongest carbonized bacteria. The medical epilogue reveals subversive verdicts for an astigmatic experience in the neurotic weaving" (Maurizio Bianchi). Ltd x 150 copies in a gatefold sleeve with download card.

BJ NILSEN / JUDITH HAMANN / SIGTRYGGUR BERG SIGMARSSON - 'Heiligenstadt' LP (Fragment Factory) - £18

BJ Nilsen (Hazard, Morthound, Tape Dekay) is a Swedish composer and sound artist based in Amsterdam. His work primarily focuses on the sounds of nature and how they affect humans. Recent work has explored the urban acoustic realm and industrial geography and mining in the Arctic region of Norway and Russia. Judith Hamann (Golden Fur) is a cellist and performer/composer from Melbourne, Australia, now based in Berlin. Her sonic art performances encompass elements of improvised, contemporary classical, experimental, and popular music. Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson is an Icelandic musician, painter, sound and performance artist and founding member of Stilluppsteypa. His musical output has been variously described as collage, quiet drone manipulations, and calm and minimal, which offers a range of still, contemplative moments, contrasted with more discordant ones. "Heiligenstadt" is the documentation of an encounter of the three artists in 2018. Ltd x 300 copies with cover artwork by Christoph Heemann.

C.C.C.C. - 'Recorded Live At Broken Life Festival, Taipei, Taiwan September 9th 1995' CD (Total Black) - £11.50

Originally released on CDR by Tochnit Aleph in 2005 (Ltd 150 copies in silver A5 sleeve), this CD reissue captures the full performance of Japanese noise legends C.C.C.C. at Broken Life Festival in 1995, with updated layout including photographs taken of the performance. Performed by Hiroshi Hasegawa (Multi-Moog Synthesizer), Mayuko Hino (Theremin, Electronics), and Ryuichi Nagakubo (Bass). Monumental psychedelic harsh noise. Digipak.

"Hymn To Eternal Death" is the new full length from Maso Yamazaki's (MASONNA) raw black electronics project. Nearly an hour of new material, mixing his distinct echo-saturated death electronics style with funereal organ and synthesizer music. A crushing and terrorizing mix between Maso's demonic screams, Power Electronics chaos resulting in an incredible work that really make this project sound unique. Maso balances the chaos with somber and dreadful, even melancholic dirges into calmer territory. Mastered by Grant Richardson. Digipak.

DAVE PHILLIPS - 'Disappear' LP (Total Black) - £19

New album from Dave Phillips (Fear Of God, Schimpfluch-Gruppe). He has spent the last 3 decades crafting a unique and nightmarish sound. Vocals and field recordings layered on top of each other create menacing and extremely dynamic compositions. "Disappear" was born of something that ceased to be, suddenly, unexpectedly, painfully, like two mirrors that reflected too strongly and burst. The shards that were left tell a story... of a chance meeting of an insect and a flower in a self-made paradise and the resulting journey that took them towards new dimensions but was brutally cut short before these could be explored. The sun disappeared. The resulting daze looked back and saw... mirrors don't reflect what we want to see. "Disappear" consists of 7 pieces composed alongside a presence. The story linking the pieces unfolds when the presence disappears and the 8th, last piece of the album, 'Marnowac' appears; a cleansing lament disguised as an abomination. Marnowac means waste in Polish. Composed between January 2018 - November 2019, a period also known as the Berlin daze. Dedicated to Agata. Ltd x 300 copies with full-colour 12" insert.

ERYCK ABECASSIS - 'Siamoises' CD (Fragment Factory) - £11

"Siamoises" is the 3rd solo album from Eryck Abecassis, a French-Algerian composer, musician and electric guitar player. Composed and recorded in Paris 2018, "Siamoises" is the pairing of an Ibanez 2404 double neck e-bass/guitar, interlaced with a modular synthesizer - a seemingly inseparable combination. A powerful hybridization exploring the state of being double in one body. "Each of these small pieces is a rather careful exploration of a few sound events; bending strings on the bass as well as bending tones on the modular, intertwining or opposing each other, just whatever the mood brings... Sometimes it can be mean and loud.. Sometimes I am reminded of a record of improvised music and in other instances, it is thoroughly composed along the lines of musique concrète.. a release that slowly reveals." (Vital Weekly). EXPOSE YOUR EYES & HOWARD STELZER - 'One Should Never Cease Considering Human Love, Which Remains As Grisly And Golden As Ever' CD (Oxidation) - £11

This mechanical monster roars and pounds with electric abandon... Paul Harrison has been on a prolific creation streak recently and has been working under various monikers, the most famous is probably Expose Your Eyes. For this release a formidable collaborator was chosen, Howard Stelzer, who is also no slouch when it comes to this style of recording. Howard has been absolutely stepping up his game with releases that also feature source material from others. "One Should Never Cease Considering Human Love, Which Remains as Grisly and Golden as Ever" is a powerful tour de force that features iconic recognizable sounds from each artist and melds perfectly into an excellent single longform piece. Musique concrete and experimental noise created using synthesizers, tapes, and undefined instruments. Digipak.

FEMEHEIM - 'Peinheil' CD (Total Black) - £11.50

"Peinheil" is the fourth full-length from German power electronics act Femeheim. Following in the footsteps of Anenzephalia, Dagda Mor, Advokat Ihrer Hoheit, etc., "Peinheil" alternates between extreme noise, heavy electronics and atmospheric industrial passages, bringing a classic sound into the new generation of European industrial music. Digipak.

FUNERAL SOUVENIR - 'La Noche Del Anhídrido' LP (Verlag System) - £18

Reissue of a 1987 tape (Toracic Tapes), "La Noche Del Anhídrido" is a work of industrial environments with rhythmic touches, voice treatments and above all some icy metallic effects that imbue the whole album and give it timelessness. "Clattering rhythms produced by a ZX spectrum computer processed by Ibanez analogue delay, muddy radio and TV voices, sombre ambient loops and uneasy feedback... "Funeral Souvenir" belongs to the most intense and dramatic releases by Miguel A. Ruiz and must be considered as one of the most influential proto-industrial-releases from Spain. An apocalyptic information-overdose of radio voices from reporters and politicians, shredded by machinistic rotations". The merit of a great sound artist is they know how to make their work remain beyond time, space and dimensions. Released on vinyl for the first time, this edition also includes bonus recordings lost in compilations, between the years 1987-1988. Ltd x 300 copies.

HERMANN KOPP - 'Tiffauges' 7" (Ultima Ratio) - £9

"Tiffauges" is the latest release from Hermann Kopp. It's a meeting between a man of excess and an experimental musician. This is the story of medieval knight, lord and Marshal Of France Gilles de Rais, told musically by Hermann Kopp. Rais was a companion of Joan Of Arc during the Hundred Years' War, but was best known for his reputation as an occultist and is allegedly the first recorded serial killer. He was executed by hanging for murdering hundreds of children whilst attempting to summon demons and is the inspiration for the legend of Blue Beard. He resided at Château de Tiffauges, which is also known as Château de Barbe-Bleue. "Tiffauges" is pure melancholy in the form of an experimental medieval soundtrack. Hermann Kopp is best known for his scores to Jörg Buttgereit's cult films "Nekromantik", "Nekromantik 2", and "Der Todesking". Mastered by Frederic Alstadt at Angström studios. Ltd x 200 copies with cover art by Bill Noir.

JULIO TORNERO - 'Palingenesia' LP (Verlag System) - £20

The idea of the album takes as its starting point the concept of palingenesia, associated with theological knowledge. This doctrine does not conceive the idea of an immortal soul that can be transferred to another body; consequently it claimed that from the actions of an individual arises a different one. Julio Tornero's sound takes up the speech of EBM, techno or industrial precursors like Esplendor Geométrico, Chris & Cosey and particularly Muslimgauze, or more recently Silent Servant in Negative Fascination. Ltd x 200 copies on white vinyl with artwork by Sefora Bontas.

LES PARADISIERS - 'Indian Summer' CD (Wrotycz) - £11

After a 7 year sabbatical, Les Paradisiers (aka Demian Nada of Ô Paradis and Thomas Nöla) return with a meditation from the Ganges: "Indian Summer". On previous albums, Les Paradisiers have flown to the South Pacific, North Africa, and the Far East in search of paradises that don't exist. On "Indian Summer" they board a train to endless megacities, through shadowy jungles, to another elusive utopia. "The work is filled with mystic atmospheres reminding [of] distant places in the East... The main strength from the album emerges from the use of acoustic instruments injecting a true authentic touch to the work. It creates this sonic melting pot between Folk, Ambient and Chanson". LINGULA - 'Static Fuzz Drill' CD (Total Black) - £11.50

Lingula was a Texas based harsh noise collaboration between the late David Gilden (Black Leather Jesus, Slave Labor) and Richard Ramirez (Werewolf Jerusalem, Black Leather Jesus) that existed from 1994-1996. The aptly titled "Static Fuzz Drill" is a non-stop 72-minute long sonic assault from these two legends of American noise. Originally released in an extremely limited homemade quantity (thought to be under 20 copies) in white painted cassette cases, given out at a show at Harvey's Club Deluxe in Houston. "Static Fuzz Drill" is now presented in an unbroken format on CD for the first time. Uncompromising monolithic noise from a now classic era. Digipak.

LLOVESPELL - 'That Summer There Was No Honey' CD (Wrotycz) - £11

Llovespell is Stephan Spreer (Antlers Mulm, Casia, Sunday Strain) and Mandie K. They have been creating their own unique cosmos of sound for more than 20 years, giving space to various genres but not being fixed to any of them. Lyrics based on poetry and emotional reflection join the experimental sound. Noise meets melancholy, ambient meets dance rhythms. The tenth album of the band refers to all aspects of its long history by reinventing itself. Nine new songs to dream and dance and fall in llove. File next to November Növelet or Apoptose. MAURIZIO BIANCHI - 'Armaghedon' LP (Verlag System) - £20

Originally released on vinyl in 1984 by the artist. Conceived as a soundtrack for a movie by Bianchi himself - unfortunately never finished and now lost - "Armaghedon" is a cornerstone of his discography; a mature and refined album that highlights the spontaneity and immediacy of its essential sonorities. Heading beyond the boundaries of mere conventionality, the disc consists of a long suite divided in two parts where M.B. combines many artistic influences in his compositional style, taking us on a fascinating and difficult path full of noise and experimentation. M.B. is the undisputed master of Italian Noise. Remastered 2020. Ltd x 300 copies on smoke coloured vinyl with visuals rescanned from the original photographs / polaroids by M.B. and reconstructed by Pharmakustik.

ROME - 'Hansa Studios Session II' CD (Trisol) - £13

A very special ROME session recorded at the Berlin studio of Grammy Award winning audio engineer Michael Ilbert, who usually has his hands full with mixing the international Pop A-list such as Nick Cave, Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode, The Pixies, Einstürzende Neubauten. ROME plus entourage recorded songs including recent work like 'Kali Yuga Über Alles' (from "The Lone Furrow") and 'Who Only Europe Know' (from "Le Ceneri di Helidioro"), plus a selection of songs from their earliest material such as 'Like Lovers' (the very first song Reuter recorded as ROME in 2005). There were no overdubs made after the session - no actual enhancements of any sort, in fact - in order to capture the band's live sound in its raw form. The resulting "Hansa Studios Session II" is a real peek into a well-oiled live machine - in all its fierce rawness - and an authentic and intimate glimpse at one of Europe's most prolific songwriters at work. 6-panel digipak with 18-page booklet.

ROME Feat. KING DUDE - 'Feral Agents' 7" (Trisol) - £12

Strictly limited collector's vinyl edition of the single from Rome's album "Parlez-Vous Hate?". This is an alternative version of the title track, featuring vocals from occult American singer-songwriter King Dude. He lends his voice to this take with his scorched-earth baritone to create an industrial neofolk classic set in a charred landscape... a gravel-voiced meditation on death and love, layered with drone keyboards and samples, creating an intense and enveloping atmosphere. The B-side features an exclusive bonus Rome track "The Spanish Drummer (Eumesville Session)", with the full band recorded live at their very own Heliopolis studio in Luxembourg. Ltd x 500 copies on high quality, super-audiophile disc in a sturdy sleeve.

THE RITA - 'Gamzatti' CD (Total Black) - £12

Deluxe CD reissue of the long sold-out LP "Gamzatti", originally released by Total Black in 2014. Includes an extra 27-minute long reworking of original source material entitled "Gamzatti Stripped". "Gamzatti" marked the first The Rita recordings utilizing sound sources from pointe shoe work to create his signature Harsh Noise Wall sound. The pointe shoe preparation and technique here is by Hannah Sarah Myrberg, and this CD reissue is dedicated to her memory. All of the dancer's pointe shoe movements were mic'd, recorded, photographed, and processed live by The Rita, turning her dance steps into something significantly more sinister. Gamzatti is arguably Sam McKinlay's (Black To Comm, Vice Wears Black Hose) favourite female classical ballet character. His top three favourite performers of the role are Ludmila Pagliero, Tatiana Terekhova, and Marianela Nunez. Housed in a stunning 8-panel digipak with full-colour booklet.

XASTHUR - 'Nocturnal Poisoning' CD (Blood Fire Death / Red Stream) - £11

Essential reissue of the debut full-length album from one-man USBM legend Xasthur. Originally released in 2002 (Blood Fire Death), this is the first CD reissue in almost 20 years of the album, after the Southern Lord vinyl edition in 2005. "Nocturnal Poisoning" has become a classic within the USBM scene, specifically the depressive suicidal black metal (DSBM) movement. Xasthur is definitely deserving of the fame it has achieved. "Imagine the deepest reaches of the mind as the razor streaks across wrists. This is suicidal grandeur unlike anything ever produced by an American black metal band. Reminding of Manes Mutilation and Abyssic Hate in terms of absolute self destruction. Bleak images of solitude await you". Ltd x 500 copies.

AUSTRAS LAIWAN - 'Birds In Shells' CD (Wrotycz) - £11

Baltic Ethereal Dark Folk, from the mastermind behind Sunset Wings, hereby assisted by Romowe Rikoito. A smooth atmosphere, with an almost naive tone and beautiful acoustic instrumentation. "Austras Laiwan emerged on Baltic shores in consonance with a roar of waves smoothing scarps' furrows and a whisper of swaying pines. Songs of the south-westerly wind are filled with lucid sadness, Prussian melancholy, gleams of dreams and remembrances. Seashells sparkle, while sea glass grows dim in the palm of his hand, under a starry veil he lulls wayfarers with sounds of aeolian harps and a gentle chime of sleigh bells. He sails through the night towards the birth of a new dawn. Using acoustic instruments, with a help of guest musicians, he creates a contemplative ambient atmosphere from the intimate realm of his spirit, ideas and experiences". One for fans of Current 93 or Nature & Organisation. 6-panel digipak.

HERMANN KOPP - 'Nekronology' CD (Red Stream) - £11

"Nekronology" is a compilation of mournful musical selections from director Jorg Buttgereit's infamous films, 'Nekromantik', 'Nekromantik 2', and 'Der Todesking', performed by Hermann Kopp. The idea behind the music was to create a dreary atmosphere through a raw, ritualistic sound. You can hear Kopp's signature violin groans, and moog snythesizer during scenes such as the bathtub suicide, the rabbit being skinned alive, and the necrophilia sequences. Reissue in a lavish 6 panel digipak with new artwork featuring silver print.

NORTT - 'Graven' CD (Red Stream) - £11

CD reissue of Denmark-based Nortt's epic 1999 demo. In the spirit of early atmospheric, depressive Black Metal / Funeral Doom acts like Burzum. Xasthur and Mortiis, "Graven" is a collection of depressive, horrifying tone poems rather than a simple series of songs, progressing deeper and darker into cavernous sonic wastelands. "Graven" is akin to what the sound of death would be like; Nortt is the ferryman, ever eager to offer passage.

NORTT - 'Ligfærd' CD (Red Stream) - £11

Throughout its duration, "Ligfærd" relentlessly smothers the listener in layers of ghostly atmosphere, but the decidedly doom-oriented black metal component is still present. Nortt's basic sound is made up of morose synths and piano, barely human snarls, ponderous drumming, despondent fuzzed-out guitars and other string laments - all tied in chains almost too heavy to bear. It all sounds like some barren ghost town somewhere between this world and another; the last funeral before your own has just taken place, and half-imagined church bells echo in your mind as a reminder that your miserable journey is coming to an end.

KRIEG - 'The Church' MCD (Cicatrix / Red Stream) - £7.50

Extreme, raw U.S. Black Metal, recorded 1999-2001. "The Church" sends all modern scenes to hell. Ultra-nihilistic, noisy Black Metal chaos with screaming vocals in the old vein of Profanatica, Blasphemy, and Bestial Summoning, with primitive lyrics based on destruction, hate, and darkness. The sound of war kills you relentlessly. Features Cryptic Winter of Judas Iscariot on drum-hell. Also features the production assistance of Akhenaten from Judas Iscariot. This is extreme and frightening Black Metal done in the most extreme way possible.

NATURE AND ORGANISATION - 'Death In A Snow Leopard Winter' LP - *SIGNED* (Trisol) - £26

The seminal 1998 album "Death In A Snow Leopard Winter" by Nature And Organisation, presented on vinyl for the first time. These songs show the development of the neoclassical structures that were first explored on the album "Beauty Reaps The Blood Of Solitude". This beautifully recorded and composed record demonstrates the melodic strength and compositional force of this extraordinarily unique and underrated album. RIZ ORTOLANI - 'Cannibal Holocaust O.S.T.' Enhanced CD (Red Stream) - £11

The complete available score for this cult Italian horror film, in lovingly remastered sound. This is the creepy soundtrack to Ruggero Deodato's bloody, eye-gouging death fest from 1980. The soundtrack houses a myriad of interesting styles-from gentle acoustic melodies to over-the-top synth excursions and even lounge, jazz and disco influenced tracks. There is a certain moog sound repeated through the CD that will eventually get under your skin like a school of leeches in the amazon. There is a full range of styles and arrangements which take you a sanguine jungle journey of emotions... Come back....to Cannibal Holocaust! This enhanced CD contains the original theatrical trailer and an interview with Riz Ortolani (Italian with subtitles). Digipak.

XASTHUR - 'The Funeral Of Being' CD (Blood Fire Death / Red Stream) - £11

Misanthropic Black Metal from this US kult band, unleashed to hasten the demise of humanity. Xasthur's 2nd opus, originally released in 2003, is a moloch of darkness; pathways of aggression and despair transmuted into the blackest melodies and soundscapes, with Malefic's painful and hate-filled screams adding to the blood-soaked atmosphere. A cold, funereal album which sounds like a hateful, depressive, dreamlike experience. Rightfully hailed as a definitive classic of USBM.
