"The heroism of revolution through the queered lens". We'e excited to release - for the first time ever on any format - the soundtrack to DEREK JARMAN's rarely seen 1984 film, with specially-commissioned music by GENESIS P-ORRIDGE & DAVE BALL. The film itself has only ever been shown a handful of times since it was made 38 years ago, and the soundtrack has quite the story, as beautifully told in the liner notes by James Mackay.

CAROLINE K - 'Now Wait For Last Year' CD + Poster (Old Captain) - £15

Second edition, this time with poster! Caroline K was a co-founder of the legendary UK Industrial groups The Pump and Nocturnal Emissions. She played on albums like "Tissue Of Lies", "Befehlsnotstand" and "Shake Those Chains Rattle Those Cages". She was also responsible for the legendary Sterile Records label alongside Nigel Ayers, releasing Lustmord, SPK, MB and Konstruktivists. Her only solo album, the title of which was taken from a Philip K. Dick novel, was released on LP by Earthly Delights in 1987. "Now Wait For Last Year" is a classic of beautiful ambient recordings; the majority of the music is haunting and melancholy. Also includes 3 bonus, previously-unpublished tracks: In Between The Spaces 1-3. They carry the same beautiful ambience as the album tracks, and also a certain sadness that underlies the compositions. Caroline sadly passed away in July 2008. Beautifully remastered, offering a much better sound quality than the previous CD version (Klanggalerie 2010). Ltd x 100 copies in a digipak with A3 poster.

DON BRADSHAW-LEATHER - 'Distance Between Us' 2 x CD (Distance) - £16

Reissue of this cult 1972 album which featured on the infamous Nurse With Wound List. During the long, dark hangover of the Summer of Love, the classically-trained Essex prodigy approached CBS Records with demo recordings. A forward-thinking A&R executive must have seen a potential revenue stream in Don Bradshaw-Leather's avant-classical noise. The artist was given an advance to record an album. He used the funds to create a large studio in Sussex with many instruments including an actual church organ. Here, on his own, without the use of any electronic sequencing, he recorded "Distance Between Us" using simply multitrack tape, layering each part of the composition. Upon hearing the product of their financial investment - four side-long tracks of blurry organ drones, frantic piano tinkling, and ritualistic percussion - CBS got cold feet. The album was self-released on Bradshaw-Leather's own Distance imprint; a vanity label established for the sole purpose of releasing the album. The sleeve art is full of mysteries, from the misspelling of "Bradshaw" ("Bradsham"), to the coal-blackened visage of the bohemian madman on the cover (DBL himself?), to the rear photo collage depicting the same madman accosting a nude woman. The music isn't any less mysterious; shapeless symphonies of smeared-out Mellotron, tribal drums, and wordless vocals. Don Bradshaw-Leather passed away in the 90's. Presented in a matt-laminate gatefold digisleeve. Distributed in Europe by Cold Spring.

GARY MUNDY & ERALDO BERNOCHI - 'Broken Masses' CD (Fourth Dimension) - £11.50

Five collaborative pieces between Gary Mundy (Ramleh / Kleistwahr / Broken Flag) and Eraldo Bernocchi (Sigillum S). Combining guitars, subtle electronics and what sounds like a voice from another dimension, rhythmic loops or serene pools of liquid sound are generated that add up to an album of immense beauty and scope. Sometimes more intense and at others almost elegiac, this work is in keeping with Gary's more recent solo work yet benefits also from Bernocchi's own clear signature stamp. Haunting, moving and immersive, with an almost soundtrack quality to it, this is music for reflecting on these deeply troubled times firm in the knowledge something majestic can still be found. "Broken people, broken bones. Broken dreams, broken masses. An unfinished skyscraper, stray dogs, small time criminals. A few hanged themselves in there, others jumped from the top... no structure, no skeleton, except for our memories and the eyes of the watcher. 'Broken Masses' is a hymn to the wind of change, a floating unformed magma of feelings, memories, wishes and disasters". Ltd x 300 copies in a digipak.

KROMESHNA - 'Chthonic Heritage' CD (Status Prod.) - £12.50

The new album from Russian Drone / Ambient / Ritual Industrial project Kromeshna. This album is a series of appeals to the very essence of the chthonic heart of the age-old Ural forests; appealing to the forgotten cults of our ancestors. "To listen to the river from under the water. To roll over the dead roots on the palm of the hand, and to smear peat on the face. To remember what is not there yet. Dangling in the cradle of an echo... of a slip off the mountain boulder". All the material recorded at night time, played on cassette loops using a small set of pedals and a dynamic effects processor. Ltd x 150 hand-numbered copies in a 5" 6-panel card sleeve with insert.

MORAL ORDER - '2017-2020' CD + Poster (Old Captain) - £16

Moral Order is the heavy electronics / death industrial project of Spanish artist Fernando O. Paíno (Da-Sein), with sought after albums on labels such as Tesco Organisation, Old Europa Cafe, Malignant Records, and Gradual Hate Records. This is a retrospective collection of rare MoAral Order tracks which featured on the EPs produced by Cloister Records (and a compilation track from Beläten label, alongside material from a self-released tape (ltd x 19 copies only!) and several unreleased compositions recorded during 2017-2020. Ltd x 50 copies in a digipak with A3 poster.

MUSLIMGAUZE - 'Farouk Enjineer' Cassette (Other Voices Records) - £12

Originally released in 1997 through Soleilmoon Recordings, this is extremely intense "Arabic dub noise music", designed to blow minds and loudspeakers. Out of print since 2003, this remastered reissue also corrects the erroneous tracklisting on the original edition. A solid example of Muslimgauze's power noise phase, "Farouk Enjineer" is reminiscent at times of Esplendor Geometrico, interspersed with atmospheric pieces, with a short homage to his dance period à la "Lahore & Marseilles". Ltd x 100 copies only in a green cassette shell with solid gold case.

NORMA REAKTSII - 'Pulse Of Telluric Energy' CD (Status Prod.) - £12.50

The new album from the famous Russian Post-Industrial project NORMA REAKTSII is dedicated to the theme of telluric energy / energy of the Earth; alternative scientific ideas of physicist Nikola Tesla and the semi-mythical image of the scientist as the "father of electricity" in general. Due to limited technical capabilities at that time, the expected sound quality was not achieved. In 2020, the original tracks underwent a radical rethinking and received adequate mastering. The final version received a slightly different name, more in line with the author's idea. An attempt to convey by sound a projection on the consciousness of the telluric, deep forces of the planet, irrational in their essence, a kind of anti-noosphere, is quite a difficult task, so it took more than 15 years of various experiments to get the desired result. "When all the elements merge together, when the current gives birth to sound, the vacuum awakens an impulse, the very heart of the Earth gives its power...". Ltd x 150 hand-numbered copies in an A5 gatefold with insert, made of designer cardboard, featuring the author's silkscreened art.

O YUKI CONJUGATE - 'Equator' Cassette (Other Voices Records) - £12

Reissue of the 1995 album by British post-industrial / ambient group O Yuki Conjugate, originally released by Staalplaat. Coming four years after their lauded "Peyote" album, "Equator" made use of the emergent technology of the early 90's, making it one of the first albums to be mixed with digital equipment, weaving together a blend of studio, live and location recordings to create their own deeply immersive, enveloping soundscapes. Brooding atmospheres unfold underneath a wide range of ethnic percussion and deep, meditative basslines - existing in a unique cross-section of Hassell-inspired 4th world mystery, Industrial landscapes, and the rich middle-eastern projections pioneered by Muslimgauze. It's a deeply hypnotic work that joins the dots between the late 80's industrial scene and the smoked-out chill-out rooms of the '90s. This expanded edition features an additional 30 minutes of material, together with glorious new artwork from artist and actor Frederick Schimmelschmidt. Ltd x 100 copies only!

ORD ERR - 'Sleeping & Awakening' CD (Status Prod.) - £16

The incessant background industrial noise envelops, muffles, plunges into a doze, dissolving it in a viscous dream. And only the awakened impulse will make you revive and live. But he will also be the beginning of the end. This is a solo album of Ord Err (the leader of the Voronezh ritual / dark ambient of the ORD project, and When The Moon Is In Her Second Quarter). "Sleeping & Awakening" consists of two 29-minute soundtracks for each part of the "Sleeping & Awakening" diptych by Ord Err. Industrial noises of a howling siren, sounds of destructive mechanisms, and loops of modular / hand-made synthesizers paint a picture of the end of all that exists. ORDAHL - 'The Mourners' CD (Status Prod.) - £12.50

The debut album from ritual black noise project ORDAHL - "The Mourners".ORDAHL is a side project of Ord Err (ORD, When The Moon Is In Her Second Quarter). The material on this album is inspired by various rituals of death and consists of 6 tracks saturated with a black metal atmosphere, woven from noises, otherworldly sounds, howls and screams. Recorded Nov-Dec 2021. Ltd x 100 hand-numbered copies, presented in a 6.5" pack containing 3 outsized art panels with cover artwork taken from the painting by Ord Err "The Mourners".

THE GEROGERIGEGEGE - '>(decrescendo) Final Chapter' 2 x CD (Inundow) - £20

Recorded in a park before dawn in August 2019, ">(decrescendo)" was originally released as a Japan-only triple cassette box by clothing brand CAV EMPT and sold out immediately. In 2020 UK label The Trilogy Tapes reissued the album on vinyl, followed by a deluxe LP reissue in 2021. Finally, a limited release of the record (20 copies) was buried in the same park for a week. Now, for the first time on double CD (84 mins), the entire recording is released on two discs as a completely new and final form of sound image. "Japan's industrial outcast The Gerogerigegege return with the drone noise of >(decrescendo)... this release showcases The Gerogerigegege submerging the mix in lo-fi, fuzzy ambient textures, without sacrificing their experimentalist credentials. An eminent stillness emerges from >(decrescendo), its hazy atmosphere barely broken by a wandering organ and, to our ears, birdsong and the distant humming of car engines. KORINE - 'The Night We Raise' CD (Other Voices Records / Born Losers Records) - £13

Korine is a Philadelphia-based electronic pop duo comprised of members Morgy Ramone and Trey Frye. The pair blend new wave nostalgia with a modern pop sensibility, contrasting upbeat rhythms against sullen, emotionally evocative lyrics. Following a self-released EP in 2017, Korine debuted their first full-length record "New Arrangements" in 2018 on Born Losers Records, launching multiple nationwide tours and two sold out vinyl pressings. Following this release were two acclaimed singles 'Uncrossed' and 'To You', marking a stylistic evolution for the band - a departure from the familiar 80's era influence to incorporate a more contemporary pop awareness. "The Night We Raise" shows the band growing even further into their own, both the songwriting and musicality more assured than ever. "Shimmering Synthpop with its heart on its sleeve" (Pop Matters). MUSLIMGAUZE - 'Silknoose' CD (Aquarellist) - £12

Russian reissue of Muslimgauze's long sold out 1995 release (Daft Records, Ltd 800). Ambient-industrial with Arabian tribal dance influences. According to some, one of Muslimgauze's most impressive works. 15 relatively short tracks in a fast, aggressive album. The overall feel emphasises industrial rhythms and harsh loops. These are combined with vocal loops, percussion (tabla, drums, cymbals), occasional harmonium or strings at various points, and some electronic effects. This is an album where variety is the main driving force: interspersed between the fast paced majority are some slower, lazy paced tracks. A very enjoyable album edging towards the harsher sounds of some later albums. Ltd x 400 copies in a 6-panel digipak.

NAVICON TORTURE TECHNOLOGIES - 'Insanity' 2 x CD (Old Captain) - £16

A double CD reissue of the classic cassette by Navicon Torture Technologies, originally released by LSD Organisation in 2000 (just 45 copies). Disc One contains the original cassette material, with a previously unreleased bonus title track, retooled for this edition. Disc Two features never before released material covering the project's formative years. From these meagre beginnings, NTT would go on to work with labels such as Malignant Records, Eibon and Ant-Zen, until its dissolution and final releases in 2009 - before morphing into Theologian. "Insanity" serves as a revealing historical document of a notable American power electronics project between the years 1997-2001. The release is remastered by John Stilling (Steel Hook Prostheses). Ltd x 300 copies in a matt-laminate 6-panel double digipak.

Z'EV & KARL J. PALOUCEK - 'Cities & Rails' CD (Latest Flame) - £11.50

A highly percussive collaboration between late Industrial pioneer Z'EV and Chicago-based sound artist Karl J. Paloucek (Boy Dirt Car). "Cities & Rails" finds both working in metal percussion and reworking each other's results. The disc's first piece, "Rail", has Paloucek building up a ringing edifice of tension out of simple metal materials, rhythm and dissonance. Z'EV, in his own inimitable way, employed his considerable talents as an electronic composer to take this piece and rework it three times, each time extracting fine textures and sonorities out of the source material that lay buried well beneath the surface. "Three Cities" turns the legendary solo percussionist Z'EV into an ensemble experience. Working with three performances recorded in Cagliari, Italy, Reykjavik, Iceland, and Poland, Paloucek exploited the consistency of Z’EV's innate natural rhythm to create a wholly new work that resonates with the brilliance of Z’EV's catacoustical events while offering the opportunity to experience expanded dimensions of his particular genius through judiciously sculpted polyrhythms.
