On "Tightrope Walker", Sweden's Barstool Mountain (aka Mattias Gustafsson / Altar of Flies) continues his harried, frazzled, grizzled Noise experiments in tape mangling known from his Altar Of Flies alter-ego.

The album furthers the buildings-crumbling barrage of 2022's "III" (Absurd Exposition), leaving just enough room to realize that the walls are coming down hard. Full brute crunchy textural noise, yet still moored to a measured sense of deliberation and patience.

The depth of complexity and sophistication turning on the inclination to follow a fractured discourse of cracks rendering fissures rendering cracks... fractured reservoirs of textural perception flooding with spirals of self-exploded gristle-churn, high pressured particles erupting and ripping in amongst the other, rippling crunch vectors yielding new depths to plunder, new terrains to explode.
