The basic recordings for "Flurry Of Delusion" were made in February 2010 using instruments like guitar, oud, saz, harmophone, motors, weevil, turntables and percussion. The starting point was an improvised recording session with Giuseppe Ielasi (Bellows, Rain Text), but as with all RLW works nothing is quite what it seems to be.
Cutting out the moments of "glory" and recombining them, Ralf Wehowsky (P16.D4) reassembles them into new more detailed compositions. Further improvised sounds were treated and added to the mix. An unrelenting rush of bent noises, buzzing glitches, and sweeping tones. A whirling mass of buzzing chaos, bizarre sounds, and metallic resonating drones. A vibrant mix of improvised industrial and shimmering electronic music. The result may seem like an authentic representation of a real time improvisation, but in reality the pieces are nothing like that.
