Hungarian act Thy Catafalque was born in 1998 as an epic black metal band. Since that time it has progressed to very original music that can be described as avant-garde post black metal / ambient / folk. Founders Tamás Kátai and János Juhász invited nine other musicians as guests to record a very unusual 70-minute album. Hungarian male vocals are complimented by the beautiful ethereal female voice of guest singer Ágnes Tóth (The Moon And The Nightspirit).
