On this album, Richard Youngs uses Spanish guitar alongside real-time street sounds, birdsong, tape loops, synth, FM radio and runout grooves to create a setting that's comparatively gentler, meditative, and ethereal than most of his previous work.

"Iker" (pronounced like 'eeker', and meaning visitation" in Basque), collects five songs willfully displaying Richard's prowess with the guitar whilst placing his delicate strumming alongside subtle elements that accord the proceedings with a hue unmistakably his own.

Akin to the stripped-down approach of some of John Fahey's work or Sir Richard Bishop's impressionist playing, this is another great album from one of the best eclectic musicians in the UK. Digipak.
