Originally released on Freak Animal in 2002, "Algolagnia" is the album that really set the tone for Control (Thomas Garrison). It may be hard for newcomers to travel back 20 years, and hear how advanced and unique this material was then, but the album set the standard of American power electronics / industrial to an unheard level of composition and technical knowhow.
