Scarecrow electronics wizard WILT (James P. Keeler) presents his "lost" 2001 earth sounds opus "Mold The Earth". This was an album planned for release in the wake of early Wilt classics "Amidst A Spacious Fabric" and "Wither" but was shelved and nearly lost forever when the record label went on an unexpected and decades-long dormancy. The master was found in 2022 and returned to the artist, who put it out digitally as part of a commemoration of 25 years of Wilt.
Now, "Mold The Earth" is finally released in the physical format it deserves! The visuals by Keeler have been updated from the cover design that never saw the light of day, but the sounds remain true to the original concept.
Crafted from field recordings and elements including wood, rock, dirt, metal and water with additional sounds provided by Steve Brand (ex-Augur), J. Benham and Jeph Jerman (Hands To), "Mold The Earth" is a mix of haunting ambience and natural textures.
6-panel digipak. Comes with a WILT sticker!
