K2 is the solo harsh noise project of Kimihide Kusafuka, one of the most prominent figures in Japan's harsh noise (Japanoise) scene, who has been making numerous noise works for over 40 years, also releasing on his legendary Kinky Musik Institute label. K2's sound is known for its unpredictable editing and violent sonic collisions.

This new work is a mix of modular synth, live sounds, small electronics, MTR. Recorded at Oncosonik Laboratory, 29th Dec 2025 - 3rd Jan 2026. The live sounds were captured at Bar Isshiee 12-13 Jan 2025, at Shizuoka Freakyshow on 23rd Sep 2025, and at NYC TV Eye on 13th Jul 2025. Recorded on air with digital recorder Tascam DR-05X by K. Kusafuka. This is the Hybrid type of Mixed Live Series: "No distortion! No fuzz! No deathmetal! No PC!".
