"Then came the hour when the stone awoke... And all that lived in as well...".

This EP from French Ritual Dark Ambient entity Dapalis Sepolcri stands as the first fragment of a two-part cycle heralding the forthcoming album "Lithosymbiosis". A slow descent into the buried strata of the concretised human spirit.

The first track is a reworked piece drawn from the recordings of the new album: a sonic metamorphosis in which human consciousness gradually dissolves into the essence of the subterranean entities, until no distinction remains between man and that which inhabits the entrails of the earth.

The second track takes the form of a ritual of symbiosis with the spirit of the infraworlds. Recorded live deep inside a cave, it captures the raw resonance of stone, the breath of ancient caverns, and the unseen presence that lingers within the mineral darkness.
