Dernière Volonté is an artist that has been evolving over the years, since its inception in 1998. This period in the band's history features a martial style with strong song structures and synth pop / electro melodies. This CD was first released in 2012 on Hau Ruck!.

A collection of songs which appeared on some very limited vinyl releases and long-deleted compilations, but also features unreleased tracks, ranging from 2002-2008. Some songs come from different side projects which never saw the light of day.

It contains possibly their biggest hit single 'Toujours', as well as a track from a planned but never released CD, produced during the same period titled 'Mon Insolence,' which later became (in a different form), the track 'Languissant' on "Devant le Miroir".
