The effect is that of waves that intersect each other, weaving harmonic, disharmonious, polyrhythmic carpets, at the mercy of an incessant Brownian motion, of a pitching followed by a sudden deflating, with the sound that deforms, tapers, until it flattens out totally just before rushing back with the tide.
